私の経歴は少し複雑です。私はサウジアラビアでエジプト人の両親のもとに生まれました。
幼い頃に英国に引越し子ども時代の大部分をそこで過ごしました。私たち家族は頻繁に親戚家族に会うためにエジプトへ旅行に行きました。そこで英国とエジプト文化の違いを経験できて本当に良かったです。またその両方の環境で育てられて嬉しく思います。そのお陰でバイリンガルにもなりました。両親はアラビア語で私に話しかけますが英国の母国語は英語なので英語で返答するということがよくありました。12歳になるまではアラビア語も勉強していました。アラビア語での会話は今でも流暢に話すことはできますが、読み書きは簡単にはできません。
18歳のとき、実家から離れました。この時に旅行の楽しさ自由を実感し個人の関心についても考え、発達させることができました。
大学では人間の歴史である考古学を学びました。時代によって人生、文化や状況がとても異なるのでそれが私にとってかなり興味深いことで先史時代については楽しく学びました。旅行に関心を持ったのもこの頃です。
大学時代にはいろんな場所へ旅行に行きました。 19歳の時に初めて日本を訪れました。幸運にもたくさんの場所を観ることができ京都、岐阜、名古屋、富山、東京を訪れました。
その時日本はとても美しい国と感じ何ヶ月もの休暇を楽しく過ごしました。また日本に戻って文化や食べ物そして日常生活を深掘りする必要があると自分に言い聞かせ、大学の修士課程を卒業後、日本で仕事を見つけ引越しをしました。
その時から様々なことが変化してますが後悔は何もありません。
幸運にも夫と出会い彼の助けとサポートを受け、そして今では私たちは美しい家族に成長しました。
今後もナズフィの活動と共にたくさんの幸せな思い出を作れることを楽しみにしています。

When it comes to my background, it can get complicated. I was born in Saudi-Arabia to two Egyptian parents. We moved to the UK when I was very young and so I lived there and was brought up there for the majority of my life. We would often go on long family holidays to Egypt to see my extended family; it was really nice to see the difference between British culture and Egyptian culture. I was happy to be brought up with both and I was brought up as bilingual, my parents spoke to me in Arabic and I would often respond in English as it was considered my first language; however I studied Arabic until I was around 12 years old- I can speak fluently, but reading and writing doesn’t come so easily.
When I was 18 I moved away from my hometown and away from my parents; and this is was when I felt the freedom to travel and to allow my own personal interests to flourish. I studied Archaeology, which is the history of the human past. I enjoy learning about prehistoric times; as the thought of life, culture and conditions being so different interests me a lot. This is when I also became very interested in travelling.
I travelled a lot during my university years; and when I was 19, it was the first time I travelled to Japan. I was lucky enough to see many places, I visited Kyoto, Gifu, Nagoya, Toyama and Tokyo. It was such a beautiful country and I enjoyed my months vacation so much that I told myself I had to come back and delve myself into Japanese culture, food and daily life. When I graduated with my Masters Course from University, I decided to move to Japan for work. It has been such a journey since I made that decision; but I do not regret anything.
I was lucky enough to meet my husband here and with his help and support; we have flourished into a beautiful family and I look forward hopefully to many happy memories with Nazufi in the future.
